Brendan Rodgers: It’s about more than just trophies at Liverpool
Brendan Rodgers reveals that he wants to achieve more than just winning trophies at Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers says that he wants to achieve more than just winning trophies at Liverpool.
Rodgers has enjoyed a so-far successful second season in charge of the Reds, with his side currently on course for Champions League qualification and just four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea with 10 games left to play.
And the Northern Irishman has spoken about how he wants to do his best to leave a legacy at the clubs he manages during his career.
For me, success isn’t just picking up the trophy at the end of the season
Brendan Rodgers
“When I eventually retire from football I want to be able to look back and see that not only have I won trophies but I’ve developed a football club that has brought through their own players and individuals and made them better,” Rodgers told LFCTV GO.
“Other managers may be different and might just be about purely winning trophies but for me, success isn’t just picking up the trophy at the end of the season.”
Liverpool next face Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on 15 March.
