Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Brighton v Man United
The Liverpool FC legend is tipping Manchester United to ease to a win over Brighton on Sunday evening

Mark Lawrenson is backing Manchester United to ease to a narrow win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Sunday.
The Red Devils missed out on some key signings in the summer transfer window to leave Jose Mourinho frustrated with their lack of transfer business.
Manchester United did manage to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot and Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant this summer.
The 20-time English champions were 2-1 winners against Leicester City at Old Trafford following goals from Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw.
Manchester United will make the trip to Brighton in their next Premier League fixture in search of successive top-flight victories.
The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 loss to Brighton in their last trip to the Seagulls at the end of the 2017-18 Premier League campaign.
Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson believes Manchester United will ease to a narrow victory over Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
“Brighton just did not get going in last week’s defeat at Watford, but Seagulls boss Chris Hughton did not use many of his new signings and he will make a few changes for this game,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“Manchester United did enough to beat Leicester in their opener, but they will improve as their star players get closer to full fitness.
“Although the Seagulls beat United on their last trip to the south coast in May, I am backing Jose Mourinho’s side to pick up the points this time.”
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson won his 13th and final top-flight crown.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last term thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
