Michael Owen states his prediction for Bristol City v Man United
The Liverpool legend is backing Manchester United to win to nil against Bristol City in the League Cup third round

Michael Owen is backing Manchester United to ease to comfortable win against Bristol City in the League Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils are the defending champions in the competition following a 3-2 win over Southampton in the final at Wembley back in February.
Manchester United have edged to narrow victories over Bournemouth and West Brom in their last two Premier League games since a disappointing 2-1 loss to Manchester City at Old Trafford.
The 20-time English champions are 11 points behind Pep Guardiola’s men, so winning the Premier League title looks like an unrealistic goal for the Red Devils this term.
As a result, Jose Mourinho is being tipped to concentrate on the Champions League, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
Manchester United have the best defensive record in the Premier League this term alongside Burnley and Manchester City.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Manchester United to beat Bristol City to nil at Ashton Gate in the League Cup last eight.
“Bristol City have won their last four and currently sit third in the Championship and I expect them to give United a real game at Ashton Gate although they haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last five,” Owen told BetVictor.
“United weren’t at their best against West Brom on Sunday, but they came away with all three points and I can see United getting a result as they bid to retain a Trophy they won in such dramatic circumstances against Southampton at Wembley last spring.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a dramatic winner in Manchester United’s 3-2 win against Southampton in the League Cup final at Wembley back in February.
The Red Devils signed three players in the summer transfer window.
