Bryan Robson tells Man United to sign this player up now
Bryan Robson says Manchester United should offer Michael Carrick a new one-year contract

Bryan Robson has told Manchester United to tie Michael Carrick down to a new one year contract.
The veteran midfielder has been a reliable member of Jose Mourinho’s midfield this season after he opted to sign a one-year deal with the Red Devils last summer.
Carrick’s current contract is set to expire in the summer and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will offer him a new deal in the coming weeks and months.
However, Manchester United legend Robson says it is important for the Red Devils to tie Carrick down to a new deal following his impressive performances when called upon this season.
Speaking in an interview with Omnisport, Robson said: “Michael’s 35 – for me, the way he’s played this season and the influence he’s had on the team has been pretty good.
“I’m not bothered about the age. It’s about the desire of a player and how he looks after himself.
“So for me I think Michael deserves maybe another year and I can see Man United doing that.”
