Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Burnley v Tottenham
Mark Lawrenson is expecting Tottenham to claim a 2-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday

Mark Lawrenson is tipping Tottenham to claim a 2-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League clash at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.
The Lilywhites head into the game looking to try and get their top-four bid back in track after having dropped down the Premier League table in recent weeks.
Spurs head into this weekend’s round of games in seventh place in the table and fresh from their 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City last weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been struggling to find consistent form, with the Lilywhites having only won two of their last five games in the Premier League.
However, former Liverpool FC star Lawrenson is fully expecting to see the Lilywhites return to winning ways by beating Burnley on Saturday lunchtime.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Lawrenson said: “Tottenham got battered by Manchester City last week and they don’t usually do well on the road against teams who are above them in the table.
“Burnley have been on such a good run but they were probably relieved to get a point at Brighton last week, and I just wonder if the festive period might be hiccup time for the Clarets.”
Tottenham are aiming to at least finish in the top four this season after they were Chelsea’s closest challengers last term and ended up second in the table behind the champions.
Spurs, who have been drawn against Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League, will then take on Southampton, Swansea and West Ham over the hectic festive period in the top flight.
