Michael Owen states his prediction for Cardiff v Arsenal
The Liverpool FC legend believes Arsenal will notch up successive victories in the Premier League at Cardiff on Sunday

Michael Owen is backing Arsenal to beat Cardiff City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners are looking to record successive Premier League victories for the first time under Spanish head coach Unai Emery.
Arsenal suffered a 2-0 loss to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in their season opener at The Emirates earlier this month.
The Gunners slumped to a 3-2 defeat by Chelsea FC in their second outing following Marcos Alonso’s late winner at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal notched up their first win under Emery thanks to a 3-1 win against West Ham United in north London last weekend.
The north London side will take on a Cardiff side that are still looking for their first Premier League victory since their promotion.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Arsenal to beat Cardiff in the Premier League in the early kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
“Back-to-back goalless draws for Cardiff City and they have yet to score a goal in their three league games to date,” Owen told BetVictor.
“I feel Arsenal’s superior class will prevail in south Wales although it will be a real test of Unai Emery’s side who were second best to West Ham for periods at the Emirates on Saturday.
He added: “That said I think the Gunners will have more than enough to build on their first win of the season last weekend.”
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a Champions League spot in successive seasons.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when Emery’s predecessor Arsene Wenger masterminded a famous unbeaten campaign.
The north London side signed five new players in the summer transfer window.
