Caroline Wozniacki arrives in Dubai ahead of this week's Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

Caroline Wozniacki arrived in Dubai on Thursday ahead of this week’s Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
Fourth seed Wozniacki, who took home the Dubai crown in 2011, said: “I take so many flights a year and travel all over the world for tennis, travelling can be tiring but I enjoy the buzz of the airport, and Dubai is one of my favourites.
“It’s a huge airport, one of the busiest in the world, and Dubai Duty Free is also one of the top airport retailers in the world with sales close to 2 billion dollars.
“It doesn’t matter what I’ve forgotten to pack or if I want to treat myself to a little something, I can always find something I want here.

“It’s nice to look around before I get down to the hard work this week. I’m so happy to be back in Dubai, I love this event. I’ve won it in the past and have lots of wonderful memories. We’re heading to the hotel now – we stay in the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.
“It’s a great hotel, the staff are all really nice. It’s also right on the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium so it’s the shortest commute of the season!”
Wozniacki is in great form and may well take home the trophy this year along with her airport purchases!
Action in the WTA Tournament begins on Sunday 15 February, with the finals on Saturday 21 February.
