Carragher: I never heard Liverpool players moan about Rodgers
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes Brendan Rodgers's man management is his greatest strength

Jamie Carragher has revealed that he never heard any Liverpool player moan about Brendan Rodgers during the Reds manager’s first season at Anfield.
The former Liverpool centre-half was speaking about his experience of working under the Northern Irishman before the 36-year-old retired in May 2013.
I can honestly say during the 12 months I was there, I very rarely heard any negative from any of the players who weren’t playing

Rodgers, who signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool this summer, scooped the LMA manager of the year award after guiding the Reds to second place last season.
Asked what is Rodgers’s greatest strength during an interview with 5times, Carragher said: “Always in a squad, there is someone who doesn’t like the manager for whatever reason; He might have substituted them, tried to sell them, or tried to buy someone in his position. There is always someone who isn’t happy.
“But with Brendan, I can honestly say during the 12 months I was there, I very rarely heard any negative from any of the players who weren’t playing. It was always positive because of the training or he was always speaking to players. He kept them involved.
“His manner and the way he goes about his job, it is what players enjoy.”
