Chelsea 1 Steaua Bucharest 0: Jose Mourinho wants the Blues to put the Champions League out of their minds until 2014
Jose Mourinho joked that Chelsea can forget about the Champions League until 2014 after the Blues edged to victory over Steaua Bucharest at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea made the vital breakthrough in the 10th minute when Oscar guided Willian’s corner into Demba Ba’s path and the Senegal striker finished from close range at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues could face Bayer Leverkusen, Galatasaray, Olympiakos, Schalke, Zenit St Petersburg or AC Milan in the last 16 next February after topping Group E.
But Mourinho insisted he wouldn’t be thinking about the Champions League knockout stage until next year.
“Normally you have to score more goals and win comfortably and more emotions for the supporters,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“We had the game always under control and we had the ball, the chances, the corners, the dominance. We were always very comfortable in the game.
“The second goal didn’t arrive and when the second goal doesn’t arrive, the opponent remains alive and fighting for a shock result.”
He continued: “Every time we played short and fast finding Eden, Willian and Oscar, we had creation speed and intensity, but we did not have enough patience and went back to things from the old days sometimes.
“Now we forget the Champions League until 2014,” Mourinho added.
