Chelsea 2 PSG 0: Andre Schürrle reveals that Jose Mourinho's speeches helped inspire the Blues to victory
Andre Schurrle has revealed that Jose Mourinho’s dressing-room “speeches” helped inspire Chelsea to victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Trailing 3-1 from last week’s first leg, Schurrle gave the Blues the lead on the night midway through the first half after coming on for the injured Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar and Schurrle both hit the crossbar after the break, before substitute Demba Ba scored the tie’s winner three minutes from time to send the west London side through to the last four.
And the Germany international was full of praise for the Portuguese coach after the game.
“It was a fantastic game. It was an unbelievable feeling. There was no pressure on us because PSG were through,” Schurrle told Sky Sports.
“We needed patience to wait for the final goal in the last three minutes. We hit the bar twice, but we never gave up.
