Chelsea to make €70m bid for Alvaro Morata alternative – report
Chelsea are ready to make a €70m bid to try and sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, say reports in Spain

Chelsea are ready to make a €70m bid to try and sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper Marca is claiming that the Blues are prepared to make an offer to sign the 28-year-old Gabon international after the west London side missed out on the chance to sign Romelu Lukaku.
The same report says Chelsea are set to open talks with Dortmund about the possibility of signing Aubameyang this summer.
The article, however, also claims that Chelsea are still keen on a move to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata after they missed out on signing Everton’s Lukaku, who has just been confirmed as Manchester United’s second signing of the summer.
The story also says that Aubameyang will have no shortage of options this summer, with PSG and a move to China possibly on the cards.
Chelsea confirmed their second signing of the summer on Sunday when they tied up a deal to land Roma defender Antonio Rudiger.
Antonio Conte is preparing his side for a return to the Champions League next season as they also look to defend their Premier League title.
