Chelsea close to completing £34m deal for second summer signing – insider
Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol is reporting that Chelsea are nearing a deal to sign AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing a £34m deal to make AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger their second summer signing, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News reporter has taken to Twitter to finally provide Chelsea supporters with some good news in what has been a frustrating transfer window so far.
Chelsea were intially rumoured to be targeting Juventus talisman Leonardo Bonucci and Southampton’s promising defender Virgil van Dijk this summer.
However, reports last week suggested that the Premier League champions had turned their attentions to AS Roma’s Germany international Rudiger as a potential defensive recruit.
And Sky Sports News insider Solhekol has revealed that Chelsea are now very close to concluding a deal to sign the 24-year-old centre-half this summer.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea from Roma almost done. Talks about personal terms at advanced stage. Fee already agreed – rising to £34m”
Chelsea signed Manchester City reserve goalkeeper Willy Caballero last weekend to complete their first summer transfer deal.
The Blues won the Premier League title with two games to spare after ending up seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
