Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Chelsea FC v Arsenal
The Liverpool FC legend believes Chelsea FC will ease to a comfortable win over Arsenal

Mark Lawrenson is backing Chelsea FC to ease to a comfortable 2-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Blues lost 2-0 to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley at the start of the campaign.
Chelsea FC eased to a resounding 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium thanks to goals from Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Pedro Rodriguez.
The Blues will welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge in their second Premier League fixture in search of successive victories under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
Arsenal suffered a 2-0 loss to Premier League title holders Manchester City in their opening top-flight fixture of the new campaign.
Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva got on the score sheet to help the Citizens start their title defence with a win.
Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is backing Chelsea FC to ease to a comfortable win over Unai Emery’s side on Saturday evening.
“While the Gunners struggled against Manchester City, Chelsea were comfortable winners against Huddersfield, which was a great start for them,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“This is an important game for both teams, just for the fact that, if Chelsea win, they will go six points ahead of Arsenal in the race for the top four.”
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot.
The Gunners signed five players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad under Emery.
Chelsea FC appointed Sarri as Antonio Conte’s replacement in the summer.
