Chelsea host Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday aiming to put a huge dent in the Red Devils’ hopes of forcing themselves into the title race.

Maurizio Sarri’s side head into the game level on 20 points with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the standings.

United are currently eighth in the table, seven points behind the top trio having lost three of their opening eight games this season.

Chelsea won 1-0 when the two sides last met at Stamford Bridge back in November, and United fans following the game via Ronaldo7 live streaming services will be hoping to see a much-improved performance this weekend.

Alvaro Morata grabbed the only goal of that game, escaping the attentions of United’s defenders to find space and beat goalkeeper David de Gea from Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross in the 55th minute.

It was another disappointing return to Stamford Bridge for Mourinho, who lost 4-0 against his former club in the Premier League the season before.

United’s recent record against Chelsea will give Mourinho plenty of cause for concern, with the North West club winning just two of their last 16 meetings in all competitions.

The home side produced an impressive display before the international break, defeating Southampton 3-0 at St. Mary’s. Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley and Morata got the goals in what was a dominant performance.

United were also victorious on their last outing, although they had to recover from a two-goal deficit to beat Newcastle United 3-2 at Old Trafford. Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez were on target for the home side.

That result may just have kept Mourinho in a job, with certain sections of the media suggesting he would be sacked if they lost the game.

United haven’t beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league since 2012 and a defeat on Saturday could see those predictions come to fruition.

Defending has been a major issue for United this term, with 14 goals conceded in eight games highlighting their weaknesses at the back. By contrast, Chelsea have shipped just five goals.

The Blues are unbeaten at home this season, winning three and drawing one of their four matches. They are averaging over two goals per game and United could find it difficult to keep them at bay.

Mourinho’s side were woeful in their last away game, falling 3-1 at West Ham United, and Chelsea will fancy their chances of picking up three points this weekend.
