Chelsea FC make last-ditch attempt to sign Argentina star – report
Chelsea FC are refusing to give up in their bid to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus, according to reports

Chelsea FC are refusing to give up in their chase to sign Gonazlo Higuain from Juventus this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror says that the Blues are still keen to try and tie up a deal to bring Higuain to Stamford Bridge this summer despite him edging close to a move to AC Milan.
Chelsea FC are thought to be in the market for a number of new players this summer as they look to assemble a squad capable of winning the title next season.
According to the same story, AC Milan have already agreed terms with Higuain, but Chelsea FC are confident that they can sell Olivier Giroud to Marseille for £20m and add those funds to their bid to sign the Argentina striker.
The same story says that Higuain is thought to be concerned about the prospect of a loan move rather than a permanent switch to AC Milan.
Chelsea FC have only signed Rob Green and Jorginho so far this summer as they prepare for Maurizio Sarri’s first full campaign in charge of the club.
The west London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte.
