Antonio Conte urged to end Chelsea FC rift with 31-year-old star
Garth Crooks tells Antonio Conte to give David Luiz a chance to shine in Chelsea FC team following Andreas Christensen's struggles

Antonio Conte needs to heal his rift with David Luiz given Andreas Christensen’s struggles for Chelsea FC, Garth Crooks has claimed.
The Blues have endured a difficult start to 2018 following a return of five victories in their opening 16 games in the calendar year so far.
Defending champions Chelsea FC dropped out of the top four following successive losses to Manchester City and Manchester United.
The west London side won the Premier League title with a back three of Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta last season.
However, the Brazilian defender has barely featured for Chelsea FC since he was dropped for a 1-0 win over Manchester United back in October.
Luiz was linked with a potential move in the January transfer window as Christensen established himself in the Chelsea FC first-team.
Spurs forward Crooks believes Conte needs Luiz to reinforce his Chelsea FC defence for the remaining months of the season.
“The not so brilliant has been Andreas Christiansen, who is clearly a talented defender but not in David Luiz’s class yet,” Crooks told BBC Sport.
“Conte needs to heal that rift with Luiz.”
Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and then Antonio Conte.
The Blues signed England international Ross Barkley, AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
