Jamie Carragher names two Chelsea FC stars who need to step up
Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher is critical of two Chelsea FC stars

Jamie Carragher says the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Willian need to make improvements under Frank Lampard.
The Chelsea FC manager is still waiting to record his first Premier League victory after the Blues appointed Lampard as Maurizio Sarri’s replacement in the summer.
The west London outfit missed out on the chance to secure three points at Stamford Bridge against Leicester City on Sunday.
Mason Mount broke the deadlock in the seventh minute but Leicester managed to rescue a point thanks to Wilfred Ndidi’s second-half goal to leave Chelsea FC without a win in their opening two Premier League games.
Chelsea FC impressed in the opening 45 minutes of their season-opener at Old Trafford before Manchester United went on to ease to a 4-0 win over Lampard’s side.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher believes the biggest issue is Chelsea FC’s organisation, something which the Sky Sports pundit says experienced players should be able resolve.
“I don’t think they have to take it to the letter of exactly of what the manager says. Use your brain. Just drop in,” Carragher told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
“It’s the way top managers want to play, it’s not the wrong approach. People talk about them about being naive and getting caught on the counter-attack.
“They’re got no organisation in possession. Frank wants his full-backs to go forward.
“Azpilicueta [should be] experienced to know he doesn’t need to go all the time. They’re leaving spaces because they’re not organised in attack.”
The retired Reds defender went on to further criticise Brazilian midfielder Willian for his poor performance from the bench.
“Willian, who I absolutely love, if Frank could have had another substitute he would have taken him off, he was that bad,” Carragher said.
“They can’t sustain an attack, keep the ball and they’re so open.”
Chelsea FC will make the trip to Norwich City in their next Premier League fixture at Carrow Road on Saturday lunchtime.
The Canaries were 3-1 winners against Newcastle United at Carrow Road at the weekend thanks to Teemu Pukki’s hat-trick.
