Eden Hazard and Willian have been linked with a move to La Liga duo FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Former Leicester star Savage believes Chelsea FC have the squad to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
“If Chelsea can keep hold of Hazard and Willian,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live. “They have a real chance. They’re a good side.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot.
The Blues were 3-0 winners against Huddersfield Town in their Premier League opener last weekend.
