Pedro has reassured Chelsea FC supporters that Alvaro Morata’s injury woes are over.

The Spain centre-forward moved to defending Premier League champions Chelsea FC from La Liga giants Real Madrid in a club record £58m deal in 2017 summer transfer window.

Morata has scored nine times in their opening eight games in all competitions as the summer signing hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old, though, failed to score in 13 games before the Spain international ended his goal drought with the opener in a 2-1 extra-time win over Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Under-pressure Chelsea FC manager Antonio Conte has used Morata sparingly in the second half of the 2017-18 Premier League season due to the striker’s niggling injury problems.

Pedro, who netted the winner at the King Power Stadium last weekend, claimed that Morata is back to his best at Chelsea FC.

“He had a back injury but now he’s in a very good condition and it’s a good time for him,” Pedro told Chelsea FC’s website.

“I think his back is perfect now and hopefully he can keep scoring, because we all know just how good he is.”

Morata has scored 13 goals in 39 games in all competitions in his first season at the defending Premier League champions Chelsea FC.

The Spanish forward has won two La Liga titles, two Serie A crowns, the Champions League two times, the Coppa Italia twice and the Copa del Rey.

Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons.
