Frank Lampard names Chelsea FC’s best player over the past month
The Chelsea FC legend believes Willian has been the west London outfit's best player over the past month

Frank Lampard believes Willian has been Chelsea FC’s best player over the past month.
The Brazil international has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the Blues team since Antonio Conte’s appointment back in 2016.
Willian was in and out of the Chelsea FC team during their title success last term as Conte’s men finished seven points ahead of runners up Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues forward has come into his own in recent months following Alvaro Morata’s well-documented struggles up front for the west London side.
Willian scored in Chelsea FC’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona at Stamford Bridge after the South American hit the woodwork twice in the first half of the first leg of the last-16 clash.
The Chelsea FC winger scored a consolation goal in Manchester United’s 2-1 win at Old Trafford to continue his prolific form.
Willian has netted five times in their last six games in all competitions to help keep Chelsea FC’S top-four hopes alive.
Former Blues midfielder Lampard named Willian as the west London outfit’s best player over the past month or so.
“In the last month I would probably say he’s been their best player,” Lampard told BT Sport.
“Creating and scoring goals and showing what we’ve been asking for from him in the last couple of seasons – consistency.”
Chelsea FC will take on Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-final at King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
