Sky Sports reporter: AC Milan in talks to sign Chelsea FC star
AC Milan are keen on signing Chelsea FC striker Alvaro Morata, Dharmesh Sheth confirms

AC Milan have opened talks to sign Alvaro Morata from Chelsea FC this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The 25-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge has been something of a source of uncertainty this summer after his mixed debut campaign in the Premier League with Chelsea FC.
Morata joined the Blues from Real Madrid last summer and initially made a strong start to life at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
However, the Spanish forward was not able to continue his good form into the second part of the campaign after he struggled with a back injury.
The striker has now been linked with a return to Italy, and AC Milan have been credited with an interest in bringing him back to Serie A.
Now, Sky Sports reporter Sheth has confirmed that talks are indeed under way between the two clubs, but they are still far apart in their valuations of the former Real Madrid man.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Sheth said: “We are told initial negotiations got under way on Wednesday last week [between Chelsea FC and AC Milan].
“It is thought Morata is keen on a return to Italy. As with massive deals like this, the clubs are miles apart in valuation at the moment.”
Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a team capable of winning the title next term in Maurizio Sarri’s first campaign at the club.
