Monaco open talks to sign Chelsea FC’s forgotten man – report
Monaco are in talks with Chelsea FC about signing Tiemoue Bakayoko on an initial loan deal, say reports

Monaco are in talks with Chelsea FC about signing Tiemoue Bakayoko before the European transfer window closes, according to reports in France.
French newspaper L’Equipe, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the French club are interested in re-signing the 24-year-old after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge by Frank Lampard.
Bakayoko, 24, was sent out on loan to AC Milan last season and returned to Chelsea FC this summer, but it seems that the France international is not part of Lampard’s plans.
According to the same story, Bakayoko has also been touted as a target for Turkish giants Galatasaray this summer, but now he is weighing up a return to his former club Monaco.
The same story says that Monaco are looking to sign him on an initial loan deal, which may have an option to make the switch permanent.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are now focused on returning to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues suffered a highly disappointing 4-0 defeat by Manchester United in their opening game of the season last weekend at Old Trafford.
