Bayern Munich make £30m bid to try and sign Chelsea FC youngster – report
Bayern Munich have made a new £30m offer to sign Chelsea FC youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports
Bayern Munich have made an improved £30m bid to try and sign Chelsea FC youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Bundesliga side have lodged another offer for the teenage winger after having had a £20m bid turned down by the Blues.
According to the same report, Bayern are “determined” to sign the 18-year-old and have returned with an offer worth £30m, including add-on clauses.
Hudson-Odoi has 18 months left on his current deal with Chelsea FC and the report suggests that the Blues may find it difficult to resist such a tempting offer from Bayern.
According to the same article, Hudson-Odoi has refused to sign the new contract on the table from Chelsea FC and he is looking for a move away from Stamford Bridge for some more regular playing time.
The teenager has only made five first team appearances for the Blues so far this season under Maurizio Sarri. He has scored one goal and made one assist in the Europa League so far.
The same report suggests that Chelsea FC’s signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund is only likely to make Hudson-Odoi more keen on a move away from the Premier League club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC were held to a goalless draw by Southampton in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
