Chelsea FC are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Christian Pulisic this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the west London side are keen on a move to sign the 19-year-old attacker ahead of Liverpool FC this summer and that they have opened discussions with the German club.
The same story says that Liverpool FC have been long-term admirers of Pulisic, but Chelsea FC are ahead of the Reds in the race to sign him this summer as the Blues look to significantly strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The article also claims that Pulisic will be available for £65m this summer.
The same story says that Dortmund are open to selling the 19-year-old this summer because his current contract expires in 2020 and they would want to get the highest transfer fee possible for the USA international.
Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Maurizio Sarri prepares for his first full season in charge of the west London club.
The Blues have so far only landed Jorginho and Rob Green ahead of Sarri’s first season.
