Chelsea FC do not have long to dust themselves down as they prepare for their crunch Champions League clash against Lille at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The west London side need a victory over the French outfit to secure their place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competitions.
And defender Azpilicueta has admitted that the Blues have plenty of work to do before that game.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Azpilicueta said: “Our target is to win every game and on Tuesday we have a final, it’s like the knockout stage already for us.
“We have to win to go through and we have to be ready because we cannot play like that today.
“The Champions League is the highest level and we have to be ready for it.”
Chelsea FC remain in fourth place in the Premier League table as they chase Champions League qualification in Frank Lampard’s first season in charge.
They will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
