Charlie Adam is tipping Chelsea FC to finish in the top four this season and qualify for next term’s Champions League.
The Blues have been in stuttering form in recent weeks and that has caused them to drop out of the top four in the English top flight.
Antonio Conte’s men are currently in fifth place and are coming to terms with the disappointment of their Champions League exit at the hands of FC Barcelona last week.
Chelsea FC will come up against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League game on 1 April in what could be a decisive clash in the race for Champions League qualification.
And Adam feels confident that the west London side have what it takes to secure a top-four finish and a place in the Champions League for next season.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 5 live, Adam said: “It is a difficult season but they still have enough points to get into fourth place. That’s not over with. They still have that to play for. They’ve also got the FA Cup.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are hoping to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
The Blues reached the final last season but were beaten by Arsenal at Wembley back in May as they missed out on a domestic double.
