Antonio Conte confirms that both Alvaro Morata and Cesc Fabregas will miss Chelsea FC's semi-final clash with Arsenal

Antonio Conte has confirmed that both Alvaro Morata and Cesc Fabregas will miss Chelsea FC’s League Cup clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night due to injury.
Both players sat out Saturday’s 4-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League and they will not be available for the return leg of Chelsea FC’s League Cup semi-final clash against the Gunners this week.
Morata was suspended for Saturday’s game but Conte has now revealed that he has been struggling with a minor back injury in recent days.
Former Arsenal captain Fabregas is also out with a minor injury, but Andreas Christensen is fit.
Speaking at a news conference at Cobham on Tuesday afternoon, Conte said: “Morata and Fabregas are out, they are not available for Arsenal game. Then I have to check a couple of situations.
“Morata has a problem in his back. I have to check a couple of situations before making the best decision.”
Chelsea FC head into the game on the back of the goalless draw between the two sides in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month.
The Blues and the Gunners played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at The Emirates in the Premier League clash earlier this month.
Chelsea FC are aiming to get revenge over Arsenal after the Gunners got the better of the Blues in both the FA Cup final and Community Shield at The Emirates last year.
The west London side currently find themselves in third place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and leapfrog Manchester United into second spot.
