Chelsea FC to finally complete £44m signing – report
Chelsea FC are set to sign Daniele Rugani from Juventus on a five-year deal, say reports

Chelsea FC are set to sign Daniele Rugani from Juventus on a five-year contract, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that Rugani is set to join Chelsea FC on a long-term deal in a transfer worth around £44m as he looks set to become Maurzio Sarri’s second signing as Blues boss.
The west London club completed the signing of Jorginho from Napoli at the weekend and are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as they look to try and build a squad capable of at least breaking back into the top four next season.
The 23-year-old defender has been strongly linked with a move for Rugani, and according to the report, the Blues are now close to completing a deal to sign him for a fee of £44.2m.
The same story says that Rugani’s expected arrival at Stamford Bridge is likely to cast further doubt on Gary Cahill’s future at the club.
Chelsea FC will be looking to at least challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished in fifth place and won the FA Cup last term.
The Blues appointed Sarri as their new boss over the weekend.
