Danny Murphy predicts where Chelsea FC will finish this season
Danny Murphy is tipping Chelsea FC to miss out on a top-four finish this season in the Premier League

Danny Murphy is expecting to see Chelsea FC miss out on Champions League qualification and finish outside the top four this season.
The Blues are currently getting used to life under new boss Frank Lampard after he was brought in as Maurizio Sarri’s successor earlier in the summer following the Italian’s departure to Juventus.
Lampard has been tasked with keeping Chelsea FC in the top four this season after they finished third and secured Champions League qualification last term.
The west London side have been unable to make any new signings this summer due to the transfer ban handed to them by Fifa, although they were able to welcome Christian Pulisic and Mateo Kovacic to Stamford Bridge as the deals were wrapped up before the suspension.
However, the Blues will also have to cope without Eden Hazard this season after the Belgian completed his move to Real Madrid from the Blues.
And former Liverpool FC star Murphy seems to think that Chelsea FC are likely to miss out on a top-four finish this season.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail, Murphy said: “Heartbreak for Chelsea [in the top-four race].
“They have made the right appointments in Frank Lampard and Jody Morris but will have to be patient, given they have lost Eden Hazard, are under a transfer ban and are without the injured Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.”
Chelsea FC will kick off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
