Chelsea FC want to sell 28-year-old this month – report
Chelsea FC could sell Danny Drinkwater this month, according to reports

Chelsea FC are looking to sell Danny Drinkwater before the close of the European transfer window at the end of the month, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is reporting that Maurizio Sarri is prepared to cash in on the 28-year-old midfielder after his disappointing debut campaign at Chelsea FC last term.
Drinkwater signed for Chelsea FC from Leicester City last August but he struggled for both form and fitness in Antonio Conte’s final campaign in charge.
According to the same report, new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri has signalled that he is happy for Drinkwater to leave Stamford Bridge before the European transfer window closes at the end of the month.
The same story says that Drinkwater could stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place in the first team, but new boss Sarri apparently has little intention of using him.
The report says that Bundesliga side Schalke could be one possible destination for Drinkwater before the close of the European transfer window.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their crunch London derby clash against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
The Blues kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win at Huddersfield Town last weekend.
