Chelsea FC ready to sell 28-year-old this summer – report
Chelsea FC are getting ready to sell Danny Drinkwater this summer, according to reports

Chelsea FC are “priming” Danny Drinkwater for a transfer away from Stamford Bridge this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the west London side are getting ready to cash-in on the 28-year-old midfielder just a year after he signed for the Blues from Leicester City last summer.
According to the same report, the midfielder’s name is being “circulated” around the Premier League because he is not in the plans of new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri.
Drinkwater struggled in his first season at Chelsea FC after joining on deadline day, with the midfielder having been limited to just a handful of appearances under Antonio Conte due to form and fitness issues.
The same story says that both Southampton and Crystal Palace may be interested in signing Drinkwater on loan if the Blues are ready to do business.
Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their first season under Sarri after he was appointed as the club’s new manager back in July.
The Italian boss has been tasked with steering the west London side into the top four of the Premier League at the very least after they ended up in fifth place in the table last term.
