Maurizio Sarri formulates Chelsea FC plan for Eden Hazard – report
Maurizio Sarri is hoping to convince Eden Hazard to stay by making him Chelsea FC captain, say reports

Maurizio Sarri is prepared to make Eden Hazard his captain at Chelsea FC in a bid to keep hold of the Belgian playmaker, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Italian manager is ready to give the Belgian the captain’s armband as he bids to try and convince the 27-year-old to stay at Stamford Bridge for another season.
Hazard’s future at Chelsea FC has been a constant source of speculation this summer after the Blues missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League.
The west London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term and won the FA Cup in Antonio Conte’s second campaign in charge.
Hazard has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid along with the likes of Thibaut Courtois this summer.
However, the same story says that Chelsea FC are “determined” not to sell Hazard this summer and they feel that handing him the captain’s armband at Stamford Bridge may help to convince him to stay at the club.
Chelsea FC have so far only made two new signings this summer after having tied up deals for Jorginho and Rob Green.
