Maurizio Sarri gives Chelsea FC transfer update on Eden Hazard
Maurizio Sarri delivers the latest update about Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard's Chelsea FC situations

Maurizio Sarri says that he his hoping that both Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard will stay at Chelsea FC beyond the summer transfer window.
The pair’s futures at Chelsea FC have been constant sources of speculation this summer as Sarri gears up for his first season in charge of the west London club.
Courtois has been strongly linked with a transfer to Real Madrid this summer, with the goalkeeper’s contract set to expire at the end of next season.
Hazard, meanwhile, has also been touted as a target for Real Madrid, although the Belgian playmaker’s current deal is set to end in the summer of 2020 and Chelsea FC would therefore be under less pressure to sell.
Both of the Belgium internationals reported back to Cobham to begin their pre-season training preparations over the weekend as the clock ticks down on the summer transfer window.
Sarri has now revealed that he has spoken to both players about their futures, and he seems to be hopeful that they will stay at the club.
Speaking in an interview with BT Sport after Chelsea FC’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday, Sarri said: “I talked to them [Hazard and Courtois] two days ago so I know what they will say to me tomorrow. I’m ready. But I think more good than bad.”
Chelsea FC will be aiming to at least break back into the top four next season after they finished fifth last term under Antonio Conte.
