Eden Hazard sends clear message to Chelsea FC fans about Willian
Eden Hazard reacts to Willian's goal in Chelsea FC's 4-0 win over Brighton on Saturday
Eden Hazard has claimed that Willian’s goal in Chelsea FC’s 4-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday was one of the Blues’ best of the season.
Hazard gave Chelsea FC an early lead during the game and Willian made it 2-0 soon after when he fired his shot into the top corner after some brilliant neat passing from Antonio Conte’s men.
Willian has been in fine form for Chelsea FC whenever called upon this season, with the Brazilian having scored four goals and made six assists in 24 Premier League games so far.
However, Willian has found his first-team opportunities under Conte to be somewhat restricted this season, with the attacker having only started 12 games for the Blues this term.
But his Belgian team-mate Hazard clearly thinks highly of Willian, judging by his comments in the wake of Chelsea FC’s victory over Brighton on Saturday.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Hazard said: “When you score early it’s easier because you have confidence from the start of the game.
“When you see the second goal by Willian, I think it was one of the best of the season because we created movement, one touch, one touch and then the finish was good so we want to do more like this.”
Both Hazard and Willian will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues take on Arsenal in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
The two local rivals played out a goalless draw in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month.
