Chelsea FC agree deal for their first summer signing – report
Chelsea FC have an agreement in place to sign Edin Dzeko from Roma in the summer, say reports

Chelsea FC have an agreement in place to sign Edin Dzeko from AS Roma at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish publication El Gol Digital, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Blues have reached a deal with the Italian side to secure the signature of the Bosnian striker this summer after having failed to sign him in January.
Chelsea FC were strongly linked with a move to sign Dzeko in January but a switch failed to materialise as the Blues instead ended up landing Olivier Giroud from Arsenal.
However, it seems that the west London club are still intent on signing the former Manchester City striker as the summer transfer window draws closer.
The same story says that Chelsea FC have beaten Real Madrid to the signature of Dzeko, who has scored 13 goals and made three assists in 28 Serie A games so far this season.
Chelsea FC are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window gives Antonio Conte the chance to significantly bolster his squad.
The Blues will take on top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
