Maurizio Sarri told to play Ethan Ampadu for Chelsea FC
Phil Babb urges Maurizio Sarri to give Ethan Ampadu a chance to impress in his Chelsea FC team this season

Phil Babb has urged Maurizio Sarri to give Ethan Ampadu a chance to impress in his Chelsea FC team this season.
The Italian manager has been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge after he was brought in as Antonio Conte’s successor at the west London club back in July.
Ampadu made seven first-team appearances for Chelsea FC under Conte but he is yet to feature under his successor at Stamford Bridge.
The 17-year-old was in impressive form for Wales as he helped his country to beat the Republic of Ireland 4-1 on Thursday night.
And Babb feels that Ampadu deserves his chance to impress in the Chelsea FC team this season as he bids to try and help the Blues enjoy a successful first season under Conte.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Babb said: “He’s got composure beyond his years. The world is his oyster. I think Maurizio Sarri has to look at him and say ‘wow – what a player I’ve got here’.
“He could have been playing in slippers, he was that good.”
Chelsea FC will look to make it five wins in a row in the Premier League when the Blues return to top-flight action after the international break with a home clash against Cardiff City.
The Blues have won all four of their opening Premier League games so far this term under Sarri.
