Cesc Fabregas reacts to Chelsea FC’s appointment of Maurizio Sarri
Cesc Fabregas is aiming to win over new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri ahead of next season

Cesc Fabregas has insisted that he is determined to prove himself to new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri ahead of next season.
The Blues moved swiftly to appoint the Italian as their new boss last weekend after opting to part company with former boss Antonio Conte.
Sarri will now be hoping to get his new players buying into his philosophy at Stamford Bridge as he bids to at least guide the Blues back into the top four next season.
Fabregas will be aiming to hold down a regular spot in the Chelsea FC team next season as he looks to impress his new manager ahead of the new campaign.
And Fabregas has admitted that he is relishing the challenge of having to prove himself to a new boss at Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.
Speaking at a news conference in Australia, Fabregas said: “It is a new start for me and for the players.
“With a new manager we need to prove ourselves and we need to show what we can do and that we deserve to play.
“I have been playing now for 15 years and when you have a new manager you always try to give your best to make sure he sees your quality and that you want to play.
“I want to play always and you have to show that every day in training and in every game. For everyone it is an exciting time and we start from zero and see what we can do.”
Chelsea FC will be looking to at least break back into the top four next season after the Blues ended up in fifth place in the table last term.
The Blues missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season but they managed to end the campaign on a high by winning the FA Cup under Conte.
