Chelsea FC risk losing out to AC Milan in bid to sign 30-year-old – report
Chelsea FC are in danger of missing out on the chance to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus, say reports

Chelsea FC are in danger of missing out on the chance to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus this summer as AC Milan have joined the race for the striker, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that Sarri has earmarked the 30-year-old Argentina international as the man to lead Chelsea FC’s attack next season.
However, the same report is claiming that AC Milan have stepped up their bid to try and land the striker this summer and that leaves Chelsea FC in danger of losing out in the race to sign him.
The same article says that Chelsea FC had been hoping that they would have been able to tie up a deal for Higuain worth around £57m, but they are now facing considerable competition for the striker’s signature.
According to the same article, Sarri is keen to sign Higuain, but the Chelsea FC hierarchy are still debating whether to part company with such a big transfer fee for a 30-year-old.
Chelsea FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and assemble a squad capable of winning the title next term.
The Blues have so far only signed midfielder Jorginho from Napoli.
