Eden Hazard has revealed that the key to Chelsea FC’s success under Antonio Conte is the relentless tactical work they put in behind the scenes.

The Italian manager was an instant success at Stamford Bridge after he was appointed as Jose Mourinho’s successor at the west London club in the summer of 2016.

Conte led Chelsea FC to the Premier League title as they impressed during the Italian boss’ first campaign in English football.

However, the west London side struggled to produce consistent form in his second campaign in charge as Chelsea FC slumped to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League and missed out on Champions League qualification.

The Blues did manage to end the season on a positive note, as Hazard fired Chelsea FC to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley earlier this month.

And Hazard has opened up about the tactical work that Chelsea FC do behind the scenes under Conte at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to BT Sport, Hazard said: “With Conte it’s more tactics.

“When you come to the training ground you can see we are working a lot on tactics, so we know exactly what to do on the pitch.

“It’s simple things but when you repeat it every time it stays in your mind and you just need to focus on the ball.”

It remains to be seen whether Conte will stay on in charge at Chelsea FC beyond the summer or not.

The Italian’s future at the club has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months.
