Sky Sports reporter confirms Chelsea FC talks to sign striker
Chelsea FC are in talks to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus this summer, according to reports

Chelsea FC are in talks to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus this summer, but discussions are at a very early stage, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.
The Blues have been linked with a move to sign the Juventus forward in recent days as new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
Chelsea FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as they prepare for Sarri’s first campaign in charge of the west London club, and there are only three weeks of the transfer window remaining.
Higuain’s future at Juventus has become a source of uncertainty after the Italian club shelled out a mammoth transfer fee to sell buy Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
Now, Sky Sports reporter Bridge has confirmed that Chelsea FC are interested in signing Higuain, but talks have only recently begun.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Bridge said: “Talks are at a very early stage.
“Higuain’s future lies away from Juve given the money they’ve spent on Ronaldo.”
Chelsea FC are getting used to life under Sarri after he was appointed as the club’s new manager earlier this month.
The Italian boss has been tasked with at least steering the west London club back into the top four for next season.
