Chelsea FC have not yet bid to sign Argentine striker – report
Chelsea FC have not yet made a bid to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer, according to reports

Chelsea FC have not yet made a bid to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer, and that could mean that Alvaro Morata stays at the club, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues have not yet even lodged a bid to try and sign Juventus striker Higuain this summer, despite having been heavily linked with a move for the forward.
Morata, 25, has been linked with a move away from Chelsea FC this summer, despite him only having signed for the Blues from Real Madrid last year.
However, Chelsea FC may end up keeping hold of the former Real Madrid star if they are unable to sign Higuain from Juventus.
According to the same report, AC Milan are interested in signing Morata this summer but are struggling to match Chelsea FC’s asking price for the forward.
And the Italian side have now reportedly made contact with Juventus about the possibility of signing Higuain ahead of Chelsea FC this summer.
Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next season.
The Blues finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season.
