Chelsea FC are lining up a £70m bid to try and sign Isco from Real Madrid, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Blues are keen to try and bring the 26-year-old attacking midfielder to Stamford Bridge as the January transfer window draws nearer.
The same story says that Chelsea FC are hoping that they will be able to quickly conclude a deal and agree personal terms of around £250,000 a week.
According to the same story, Real Madrid chiefs are prepared to sell Isco next year, with the midfielder having made just 11 league appearances so far this term.
Isco has only started five games in La Liga so far this season and has scored one goal and made two assists in the top flight.
The same article claims that Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri wants to pair Isco with Eden Hazard in his team as he looks to bolster his attacking options next year.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are now currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues are currently fourth in the table as they look to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season.
