Chelsea FC considering move to sign quality 25-year-old – report
Chelsea FC are considering a move to sign Jack Butland from Stoke City, according to reports

Chelsea FC are considering a transfer bid to try and bring Jack Butland to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Blues are keen on a deal to bring the 25-year-old goalkeeper to Stamford Bridge amid the uncertainty about Thibaut Courtois’ long-term future at the club.
Butland’s future is set to be a source of speculation this summer after Stoke City were relegated from the Premier League and the England international looks to join a club in the top flight for next season.
According to the same report, Chelsea FC have joined the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool FC by showing an interest in signing Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson from AS Roma.
However, it is also claimed that a deal to bring Butland could be more likely because it is the more economical option for the west London club.
Chelsea FC are likely to be keen to make a number of signings this summer as they bid to try and at least break back into the top four next season.
The Blues ended up fifth in the table last term as they missed out on Champions League qualification in Antonio Conte’s second campaign in charge.
