Frank Lampard: What I really think of Jorginho at Chelsea FC
Frank Lampard has his say on Jorginho at Chelsea FC ahead of the new campaign

Frank Lampard has insisted that he has been impressed by what he has seen from Jorginho at Chelsea FC so far this summer.
Lampard has been getting to grips with his Chelsea FC squad after having been appointed as the club’s new manager earlier this month following the departure of Maurizio Sarri to Juventus.
Jorginho joined Chelsea FC from Napoli last summer and he enjoyed a mixed first season in the Premier League under Sarri.
The 27-year-old was deployed in a deep-lying midfield role by Sarri and he scored two goals in 37 Premier League appearances for the Blues.
Chelsea FC fans will be eager to see how the Blues will line up in midfield under Lampard next season, but the former England international has insisted that he has been highly impressed by what he has seen from the Brazilian so far this summer.
Speaking in an interview quoted by The Sun, Lampard said: “Jorginho became quite a conversation last year.
“But I’m actually looking at a player who has very much impressed me over the last 10 days.
“The one thing that struck me about him is not just his quality on the ball. I saw that last year.
“His attitude in training has been first-class. He’s a driver of a session. He’s a voice.
“He drags people up when he doesn’t feel they’re working as much as he might want.”
Chelsea FC will be looking to maintain their position in the top four next season under Lampard after they ended up third and won the Europa League under Sarri last term.
The Blues chose to bring in Lampard, 41, as their new boss after Sarri left the club to join Juventus earlier this summer.
