N’Golo Kante delivers update about his Chelsea FC future
N'Golo Kante insists he is happy at Chelsea FC despite being linked with a move to PSG

N’Golo Kante has insisted that he is happy at Chelsea FC despite having been linked with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman is widely regarded as one of European football’s top defensive midfielders and he played a key role in helping Chelsea FC to win the Premier League title under Antonio Conte in 2017.
Kante was deployed in a slightly more advanced role by Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge last season but he is expected to revert back to his more familiar position under Frank Lampard.
The midfielder was linked with a potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer but he remains at Stamford Bridge ahead of the new campaign.
And the player himself has now insisted that he is happy at the west London club, despite conceding that talk of a move to a club of PSG’s stature was flattering.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Express, Kante said: “It’s rewarding to be wanted by big clubs, when coaches want you in their project it’s nice.
“But I’m happy with my choices and feel good at Chelsea. I’m planning for the next season at Chelsea.
“I’m happy with my choices and to be in Chelsea.
“We all know what this competition represents for footballers.
“I had the chance to play in it once with Chelsea but alas, we were knocked out early.
“I hope we will have the chance to go further this season.”
Kante has been struggling with a knee injury in recent weeks but is now on the road to recovery.
Chelsea FC will be aiming to maintain their place in the top four this season under Lampard after they finished third and won the Europa League under Sarri last term.
