Jurgen Klopp rates Chelsea FC and Arsenal's Premier League title hopes this season
Jurgen Klopp believes that Tottenham, Chelsea FC and Arsenal will have strong seasons in the Premier League this term.
Chelsea FC have made a solid start to the new campaign after Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in July following the sacking of Antonio Conte.
The Blues have notched up victories against Huddersfield Town and Arsenal to take six points from their opening two Premier League games.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently getting used to life under new manager Unai Emery, with the Gunners having slipped to disappointing defeats by Manchester City and Chelsea FC in their opening two games of the season.
Tottenham have also taken six points from their opening two Premier League games this term.
And Liverpool FC boss Klopp feels that both Chelsea FC and Arsenal are set to have strong seasons in the top flight this term.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday at Melwood, Klopp said: “If City isn’t the number one then there will be others going for it.
“I really think Tottenham will have a brilliant season. They are together still and have a fantastic manager.
“A few other teams have a big chance too. Chelsea look really positive, Arsenal not a good start but that will change.
So don’t look at the others, it doesn’t help you. You only have a problem with them twice over the course of the year.
“Just try to beat them in those two games and then beat the others as often as possible.”
Chelsea FC and Arsenal will both be looking to break back into the top four this season after the clubs finished outside of the Champions League qualification spots last term.
