Kurt Zouma opens up about his Chelsea FC future
Kurt Zouma expects to stay at Chelsea FC for next season and will fight for a regular spot in the team

Kurt Zouma has said that he expects to stay at Chelsea FC for next season but is hoping to become a first-team regular under Frank Lampard.
The French defender has linked up with the Blues squad this summer after having spent the last two seasons on loan to Stoke City and Everton.
Everton were keen to make Zouma’s move to Goodison Park a permanent one, but as things stand, the defender is set to remain at Chelsea FC this summer.
New Chelsea FC boss Lampard has made it clear that Zouma is part of his plans for next season.
And the player himself says he will be happy to fight for a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge as long as he can earn some regular playing time under Lampard.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mirror, Zouma said: “That [playing regularly] is very important for me.
“It was one of my targets to get into the France team. I had been there before and wanted to come back.
“I managed to do that. Now the target is to play at the Euros – but to be there you have to be playing at your club. So I am working very hard.”
Chelsea FC are currently getting used to life under Lampard after he was brought in as Maurizio Sarri’s successor at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
The 41-year-old takes over from Sarri, who departed Chelsea FC after just one season to return to Italy and become the new Juventus manager.
Chelsea FC finished third and won the Europa League last term.
