Marcos Alonso reacts to Chelsea FC’s appointment of Maurizio Sarri
Marcos Alonso has his say on life under new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri

Marcos Alonso says he has been pleased with the start life at Chelsea FC under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian boss was brought in as the club’s new manager last weekend after the Blues opted to sack Antonio Conte following two years in charge.
Chelsea FC ended up missing out on Champions League qualification for next season as the Blues ended up in fifth place in the table last term, although they did end the campaign on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May.
Sarri has been tasked with restoring Chelsea FC back to the top of English football and the Blues boss has been working with his players during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia in recent days.
And Alonso says that he has been satisfied with the start to life he has made under the new Chelsea FC boss ahead of the new campaign.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Alonso said: “So far, so good.
“I think he has a great style and we are just learning new things now to get used to it very quickly, and be ready for August 5 when we have the Community Shield against Manchester City.
“He likes to play football, he likes to press high, to try to have control of the ball and so control of the game.”
Chelsea FC completed their first signing of the summer last weekend when they tied up a deal to bring in Jorginho from Napoli.
The west London side will be aiming to be among the contenders for the Premier League title next season.
