Chelsea FC man hails ‘intelligent’ Maurizio Sarri
Emerson Palmieri admits that he has already been impressed by his first taste of life under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea FC

Emerson Palmieri has admitted that he has already been impressed by his first taste of working under new manager Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea FC.
The Italian boss has been brought in as the club’s new manager after the Blues opted to part company with Antonio Conte at the end of last season.
Sarri has been tasked with steering Chelsea FC back into the top four in the Premier League at the very least after the Blues ended up in fifth place last term and missed out on Champions League qualification.
Emerson will be hoping to impress the new man in charge at Stamford Bridge as he bids to earn a regular spot in the first team next season.
And the Brazilian has admitted that he has been happy with how his start to life at Stamford Bridge has unfolded.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Emerson said: “He’s a very intelligent manager and I obviously played against him in Italy.
“It’s been a really positive start under him and the team have learnt a lot in a short space of time.
“Now it’s our responsibility to keep working hard in training in order to understand his philosophy so that we can have a great season.”
Chelsea FC have signed both Jorginho and Rob Green so far this summer as Sarri looks to build a squad capable of challenging next term.
The west London side managed to end last season on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May.
