Mario Melchiot predicts where Chelsea FC will finish this season
Mario Melchiot has his say on Chelsea FC's chances in the Premier League this season

Mario Melchiot says finishing in the top six would represent a good season for Chelsea FC under Frank Lampard.
The Blues are currently getting used to life under their new manager after he was brought in as Maurizio Sarri’s replacement back in July.
The west London side have made something of a mixed start to the new campaign, after having taken just four points from their opening three games.
Chelsea FC sealed their first Premier League win of the season last weekend when they claimed a 3-2 win over Norwich City at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard will now be aiming for his side to seal back to back wins in the Premier League when they take on Sheffield United in front of their home fans this weekend.
However, former Chelsea FC star Melchiot seems to think that finishing in the Europa League qualification spots would represent a solid season for the Blues.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Goal, Melchiot said: “Chelsea are more like Ajax this season. They can’t make big signings but the smart thing to do is promote the young boys.
“If they qualify again for Europe, it is a big success. Even the Europa League.
“Asking to win the league is silly. They can build on a European finish. They will build on the young players, then sign more alongside a group of successful homegrown talent.
“Bringing through homegrown talent is a success in itself. You see Chelsea’s youngsters won a lot of trophies but the real trophy is now that they are being used.”
Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League and won the Europa League under Sarri last term, before the Italian opted to return to Italy to take over at Juventus.
